Thank goodness. I don’t know if I can handle one more weekday! Maybe it’s because I haven’t had my coffee yet today and I’m feeling… eh. I have all these plans this weekend, and don’t get me wrong, I want to see all my friends and all, but:
Showering? Drying my hair? Looking decent enough to be in pictures and be in public? Ehh I am not feeling that kind of motivated today. Hopefully a warm cup of crack errr, coffee will solve my dilemma. Thanks, Starbucks, for fostering such an addiction in my life.
Last night, I went to a new to me gym – Urban Active. They are owned by LA Fitness and, um, jeez. It was so swanky. There were machines I didn’t even recognize so I gave one a shot:
What the heck that thing was is way over my head but between that, the treadmill and another abdominal workout, I was tuckered. Someone else wants to show you how exhausted he is after three runs this week.
His demonic eyes give me the chills too. Don’t stop reading this blog because my dog scares you. He’s actually really pathetic and whimpers constantly.
On another note, I totally skipped a workout this morning. My plan was to get up and swim before work but alas, I hit snooze over and over again. Not today pool, not today. If only I embraced his attitude this morning.
Random food cravings this week: EGGS.

I must admit, I got the idea for the idea above from my favorite blogger, PB Fingers. She always uses zucchini and squash in scrambled eggs and I finally gave it a whirl last night. Yummy yummy.

At home workouts are sometimes soooo much better than gym workouts for me.
My favorite way to to make eggs is to add just a bit of lemon pepper and scramble them. Simple and delicious! (:

Oh urban active…that was actually the last gym i belonged to…i liked it a lot but eventually decided a gym wasn’t for me at that time. Wouldn’t mind going back at some point, though…they had everything 🙂 have a great run tomorrow girl!

I am obsessive about eggs! During the week, I don’t have enough time to make them for breakfast, so on the weekend as soon as I wake up I am in pursuit of eggs. Like a mad woman. Love them scrambled with Mexican toppings or over easy with runny yokes. Yum, yum, yum! And I belong to a Planet Fitness because they’re conveniently located to my house, but I want to start going to LA Fitness. I want to swim like the fishes!!!
I don’t have time in the mornings either so I obsess after a workout. Probably healthy, right? I mean cheese + eggs = pure heaven. Mexican toppings… Hmmm.. Sounds right up my alley. 🙂
Just keep swimming, just keep swimming! Swim like the fishes Leslee!!! I swim like a dying fish when I swim so maybe you can do the sport some justice.
Weekends on my couch are my personal favorite, not going to lie. The less I have to be out in public, the better. I hope your run goes well!

I have to do a 10 miler too, on Sunday. Not sure how i feel about it, last time I ran double digits was in Feb for my half marathon. Favorite way to eat eggs, scrambled.

I actually did do my 10 mile run on Sunday morning and I felt great pretty much the whole run. I’m hoping that’s a good sign for my half in 2 weeks!

I do love new gyms, but I always feel like the machines are way over my head too! Ive accepted that i’ll probably always be confused at the gym in Australia. All of the distances are in kilometers!
