Guacamole for a Group

Let’s chat about guacamole for a minute here folks. It’s Paleo. It’s delicious. It’s green. It’s creamy. It’s flavorful. It’s simple. It’s heart healthy. It’s pretty. It’s delicious. 🙂 Whoops, I guess it’s delicious, mostly?

Here’s what you’ll need to make the best guacamole you’ll ever have – I promise! If this doesn’t ring true for you after making it, you may take it out on my fellow blogger, Rebekah. 🙂 She handles all complaints (as of this sentence being published!).

4 Avocados
1/2 tomato
1/4 red onion
1 tspn sea or kosher salt (adjust according to your tastes)
1.5 tspn fresh ground pepper
1 tspn cumin
1/2 fresh squeezed juice from a lime
2 tbspns fresh cilantro

What this comes down to, people, is pretty simple. Cut up all the ingredients that need cutting (avocado, tomato, onion, cilantro) and throw it all in a bowl. Or, you can be a complete psycho about it all so that your roomie can capture your crazed looks.

So glad she was able to truly capture those emotions I felt toward that helpless avocado.

Once you put everything in a bowl, you want to make sure the avocado is nicely creamy but still leave a few chunks for texture. Garnish with more cilantro pieces, some fresh pepper, and you’re ready to throw a party! I served this with carrots, celery and cucumbers. T’was a hit!

So, in lieu of an update on my healthy lifestyle, you get a recipe for the best darn guacamole out there.

You’re ever so welcome (seems to be a common adieu for me!),
